Itinerary

1Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and City IntroductionKigali

Arrive in Kigali and meet your driver, if airport transfer is required. After checking in or storing your luggage, enjoy a relaxed city introduction with selected cultural or historical stops suited to your arrival time. Your guide will explain the next day’s safari arrangements. Have dinner and rest before an early start

2Day 2: Akagera National Park Guided Game DriveAkagera National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park. Complete park entry formalities and meet the designated safari guide. Travel through the park’s varied habitats while looking for wildlife and stopping at suitable viewpoints for photographs. Enjoy lunch according to the arrangements made, then continue the game drive or take a pre-booked boat trip on Lake Ihema if operating and included. Check in at the confirmed lodge or accommodation and relax in the evening

3Day 3: Morning Safari and Return to KigaliAkagera

If the schedule and park arrangements allow, set out for a short morning game drive when wildlife may be active. Return for breakfast, check out and begin the journey to Kigali. The transfer can continue to a hotel or airport, but departure flights should allow a generous road-travel buffer
