1Day 1: Kigali to Lake Kivu A Scenic ArrivalRubavu

Meet your driver in Kigali and begin the journey west toward Rubavu. Enjoy the changing scenery of Rwanda’s rolling hills, with comfort stops along the way as needed. On arrival, check in to your lakeside hotel and take time to settle in. Spend the late afternoon relaxing by the lake or exploring the nearby waterfront before dinner

2Day 2: Lake Kivu — Boat Cruise and Lakeside LeisureRubavu

After breakfast, meet your local boat operator for a planned cruise on Lake Kivu. Enjoy views of the surrounding hills and shoreline, with an island or nearby-community excursion only if it has been arranged and is available. Return to shore for lunch and a leisurely afternoon for swimming only in a suitable designated area, taking photographs or enjoying the hotel facilities. In the evening, watch the light change over the lake before dinner

3Day 3: Morning by the Lake and Return to KigaliKigali

Enjoy breakfast and a final quiet moment by the water. If time allows, browse local craft shops or take a short walk along the waterfront before checking out. Travel back to Kigali, allowing sufficient time for road conditions and any onward flight
