Itinerary

1DAY 1: Transfer to Fort Portal – Tooro Palace – Amabere CavesMitiyana

Driver/guide will pick you up from your residence around and drive you to Fort Portal. You will drive through towns of Mitiyana, Mubende and Fort Portal. Enjoy beautiful views of landscapes, tea plantation, natural forests and swamps. Your tour will be disturbed with a stop-over in Mubende for a snack(optional).

2DAY 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kikorongo Equator Kasese Town

After breakfast, check out of The Mofort Hotel. Your tour driver will pick you up and drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have lunch in Kasese town and after proceed to the park. You will have a stop-over at the Equator in Kikorongo. After your tour driver will drive you to your lodge, on arrival, check in at Engiri Safari Game Lodge and Campsite for dinner and overnight

3DAY 3: Morning Game Drive – Boat Launch Launch

After an early morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in search of the early risers such as warthogs, waterbucks, lions, buffalos, elephants and more.

4Day 4: Katwe Salty Lake Tour – Guided Nature Walk Katwe

After breakfast, your tour driver will pick you up from your lodge and drive you to Katwe Salty Lake where salt is excavated. While here you will see pied avocet, lesser flamingos, black terns, and black-winged stilt and among others. Katwe Salty Lake After Katwe Salty Lake Tour, head back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. After, enjoy a guided nature walk that will lead you through the neighboring community and nature.

5Day 5: Departure via Mbarara Mbarara

After breakfast, your tour driver will pick you up from your lodge and drive you back to Kampala, with enroute lunch in Mbarara.
